Environmental Justice through an Intersectional Lens, March 8

For International Women’s Day, the College of Social and Applied Human Sciences has invited a panel of scholars and practitioners to discuss the politics of environmental (in)justice.

The panelists include:

  • Dr. Diana Lewis  |  Canada Research Chair in Indigenous Environmental Health Governance (Tier II) and Assistant Professor, Geography, Environment and Geomatics 
  • Dr. Klaire Gain | Assistant Professor, Social Justice & Peace Studies, King’s University College 
  • Cheyenne Sundance  |  Project Coordinator, Black Environmental Initiative 
  • Lily Barraclough  |  Climate Fellow, Inspiring Communities

It will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 12-1:30 pm (EST), either online or in-person at the Macdonald Institute, Room 129. Lunch will be served to those attending in-person.
