GiiiA Network Community Practice Session – November 26, 2025 

For the 2025-26 year, the Gender-Based Indigenous Intersectional Impact Assessment (GiiiA) Network has launched their Community of Practice (CoP), through which they will host six sessions focused on implementing culturally relevant Gender-Based Analysis Plus (GBA Plus). These sessions will provide practical guidance, shared learning, and meaningful dialogue to strengthen members’ capacity to apply culturally relevant GBA Plus in ways that honour diverse cultural contexts and lived experiences. 

All sessions will include caption service and be facilitated by the Firelight Group, whose expertise will help create a supportive and engaging environment for learning and collaboration. Firelight Group is an Indigenous-owned consultancy providing research and technical support to Indigenous Nations and organizations across Turtle Island.

November 26, 2025, 1:00-1:50 p.m. ET 

Location: Virtually on Zoom 

Description: This workshop will guide participants through GiiiA’s six key steps for implementing culturally relevant GBA Plus in impact assessment, emphasizing co-creation, engagement, and centering community voices at every stage.
