U of G Indigenous Recognition Week

The University of Guelph is celebrating Indigenous Recognition Week from January 15-19, 2024! The Indigenous Student Centre will be holding a series of events to celebrate First Nations, Inuit, and Métis cultures.

Events include Indigenous 101, “Nosism” & “Acting Good” with screenwriter Sonya Ballantyne, a dreamcatcher-making workshop, Métis jigging with Alica Hamilton, and a ᑕᐅᑐᑉᐹ Tautuppaa Long Looking exhibition tour. These events take place throughout the week and are open to everyone!
