SAVE THE DATE: June 10 Virtual GiiiA Network Dialogue
On June 10, 2025, from 1:00-1:50pm ET on Zoom, the Gender-Based Indigenous Intersectional Impact Assessment Network (GiiiA) will be hosting their third Virtual Network Dialogue.
This event is a rich opportunity for collaboration, discussion, and knowledge exchange within the GiiiA community. With a series of guest speakers, this event will dive deeper into applying Gender-Based Analysis Plus (GBA Plus) and Artificial Intelligence in Impact Assessment (IA).
Participants will hear from the following guest speakers:
Tara Howse is a rural development practitioner and policy developer with over 15 years of experience specializing in intersectional research, Indigenous–settler relations, and integrating equity throughout the lifecycle of resource projects.
Celesa Horvath is an independent impact assessment practitioner with 35 years’ experience in federal, provincial, and territorial impact assessment and regulatory processes across Canada and internationally.
Nina Barton currently leads the socio-economic group at Two Worlds Consulting, and is focused on holistic, community-based research that equally considers diverse perspectives and sources of knowledge.
