You may be eligible for an honorarium of $100 for a blog of 500-900 words on a topic that fits the Centre’s Work, Vision, and Values. The blog contribution is approved by the Director and edited as needed by the Centre. Please send your proposal to liveworkwell@uoguelph.ca and let us know what you would like to write about!

Indigenous Recognition Week 2025, March 3-7

Indigenous Recognition Week 2025 is a U of G-specific celebration running from March 3-7. This week of recognition takes place each year at the University to recognize the culture and experiences of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.

Black History Month at the University of Guelph

February is Black History Month, and this year the Black History Month Committee at U of G has announced the theme to be “Resist, Reclaim, Restore!” The committee, led by Student Experience’s Cultural Diversity Services, chose this theme to honour the strength and resilience of the Black community.
